Terms and Conditions for UKIM Annual Convention 2024

1. Introduction
Welcome to the UK Islamic Mission (UKIM) Annual Convention website. By registering for this event, purchasing tickets, or participating as a sponsor, volunteer, or vendor, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully.
2. Event Registration and Ticket Purchase
- Registration: Attendees must register and purchase tickets in advance through our designated ticketing platform, TicketTailor.com.
- No Refund Policy: All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be provided unless the event is canceled by UKIM.
- First Come, First Serve: Sessions and activities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot.
3. Sponsorship Terms
- Sponsorship Packages: Sponsors will receive benefits according to the package they have purchased, as detailed on our website.
- Coverage and Promotion: Sponsors will be given coverage as outlined in their package. This includes promotional slots during the event, which must be adhered to strictly.
- Compliance: Sponsors must comply with the allocated time and slots as per their sponsorship package. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the slot without a refund.
4. Stalls and Vendor Terms
- Advance Booking: All stalls and vendor spaces must be booked in advance.
- Display and Setup: Vendors must follow the directions of the management for the setup and display of their stalls.
- Conduct: Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and adhere to the guidelines provided by the event management.
5. Volunteer Terms
- Registration: Volunteers must register in advance and attend any mandatory training sessions.
- Conduct: Volunteers are expected to maintain a high standard of conduct, treating all attendees with respect and courtesy.
- Welfare: Volunteers will be provided with necessary welfare arrangements during the event, including breaks and refreshments.
6. Guest and Speaker Terms
- Arrival and Welfare: Guest speakers and performers are required to arrive on the day of the event at the specified time. Their welfare will be taken care of by the event management.
- Cancellation: Any cancellations by guests or speakers must be communicated well in advance to the event organizers.
7. Event Operations
- Animal Shows and Attractions: Operators of animal shows, bouncy castles, and other attractions must adhere to safety standards and guidelines provided by the event management.
- Conduct: All operators must conduct their activities professionally, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
8. General Conduct
- Behavior: All participants, including attendees, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors, must behave in a manner that respects the values and principles of UKIM.
- Compliance: Participants must comply with all instructions from event staff and adhere to the event schedule.
9. Liability and Indemnity
- Liability: UKIM is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the event unless caused by the negligence of UKIM.
- Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless UKIM from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of their participation in the event.
10. Amendments and Changes
- Changes to Terms: UKIM reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants through our website or other appropriate channels.
- Event Changes: UKIM reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, venue, or any other aspect of the event as necessary.
